How to Defrost Wagyu

Put Wagyu beef in the coldest part of your refrigerator, typically the bottom shelf, and maintain a temperature of 32°F to 40°F (0°C to 4°C). Allow the beef to thaw for several hours or even overnight, depending on the thickness of the cut. Thinner cuts may take only a few hours, while thicker ones might require a full day or longer. Periodically check the beef to see if it has fully thawed. It should be soft and no longer feel frozen in the center.

*Do Not Rush*

Avoid using a microwave or hot water to speed up the thawing process, as this can lead to uneven thawing and negatively affect the meat's texture and flavor.
